Conflict is something many of us would normally try to avoid. Driven by a breakdown in communication, conflict resolution requires open and respectful conversations that whilst may feel awkward, deliver incredible results.

Kate Russell, is a professional conflict mediator, who has worked in the area of conflict resolution for 25 years. In her new book, Leaders Who Lead, Kate details the effective leadership skills and methods of prevention, that help disrupt the cycle of conflict.

In today’s episode of Be The Drop, Kate shares her story of health and dependency, and how the experience of changing her life has revolutionised her approach to conflict resolution. Kate discusses how communication, empathy, and courage are central to resolving issues and, preventing them for occurring again.
