The gender equality conversation has been had many times, over many years. Positive progress has been made, however there are still many issues arising from gender inequality across the workplace and in daily life. There is still much to improve.
In early 2019 Chris Warman and I decided we wanted to create a documentary series that investigates how as a general society, we can work together to improve our gender discussion to help move positive progress at a faster rate. To achieve this, we interviewed a diverse range of men and women, of different ages and from different cultural backgrounds.
In today’s episode of Be The Drop, we discuss the top things we’ve learned when looking to shift culturally ingrained narratives. We also share a sneak peak into interviews from episode 1, which will broadcast live on Channel 44 at 8pm on Thursday 11th June.
“The point of the documentary series was to investigate, to get different opinions and perspectives and see where that takes us.” Amelia Veale
